Please note that this radio ad uses a few seconds of the music theme of
"Gettysburg" at the beginning. "Gettysburg" is
the movie produced by Ted Turner about the Civil War. When played on the Radio,
those behind the Gettysburg music get credit through ASCAP, the musicians'
union. When played for a few seconds on the internet, this is not always the
case. Therefore -- please rent or buy not only "Gettysburg" (2nd in
the Trilogy) -- but also "God and
Generals" (1st in the Trilogy) -- both of which are absolutely SUPERB movies capturing the angst,
heroism, and tragedy of the Civil War -- covering the points of view of all
sides fairly, I think. Another great song from this series is "Going Home" by
Mary Fahl, which was the intro to "Gods and Generals." If they get enough
support, the third movie of the Trilogy, "Last Full Measure" -- is still to be
made.
